“Annie’s is a great quirky place to spend a holiday in North Norfolk. From stepping into the front door, we felt like we had stepped back in time, very nostalgic feel to the house. The location in Sherringham is excellent just a short walk to shops, pubs and restaurants, we loved this property and will definitely return, thank you for a brilliant stay in Annie’s.”

Julie B

“Loved the 40-50s touch with modern conveniences being of an age of growing up with items like the old washtub and the cooker etc cottage in very convenient position ie beach shops trains buses could’nt have asked for better very cosy will definitely book this again been coming to Sheringham for 13 years this is top of the list very relaxing thanks
“Annies is a sweet cottage, it has a very 40/50th feeling. It was nice to have a garden. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. Also pleasant that the shops were closeby”

Odette S

“We have just spent a relaxing week in Annies cottage in Sheringham. It was a very welcoming, comfy place to stay. It's right in the heart of Sheringham so beach, shops, restaurants, cafes etc. are all within a minute of the front door.
We have stayed in several properties in Sheringham and this was definitely our favourite. ”

Angela S

“We loved our holiday at annies there was lots of space and our dog liked his walks to beeston common and going to sheringham town centre ”

Adrian G

“Annie’s is a property full of character, and situated in a perfect position close to shops and the beach, but still fairly quiet location at night. Although no parking is guaranteed, we stayed for 14nights and never failed to park on the road outside the house, the only draw back being the car needs to be move by 08:45 each morning.
We had a great time, and would certainly consider Annie’s for a future stay in sheringham. ”

“Annies is such an interesting experience.I would love to know more about the history and background of it..and who was Annie? Pleasant idle moments pondering while relaxing in the sun trap backyard..and why is the yard as it is with built up area? The cottage was very well equipped and comfortable and lovely wellcome refreshment box with tea and biscuits etc.Thankyou.The location was our main reason for being there as right in the town..bullseye! Absolutely no need to use the car for any shopping seafront or eating out or indeed the railway stations.Sheringham has an excellent recently built skateboard plaza [just behind the superb pool gym and leisure centre]which was enjoyed a lot.I grew up in many different cottages and dwellings of a similar vibe to Annies, the old domestic objects that I remember being used in early 50,the range and the copper etc .No electricity and elsan toilet bucket outside, water from a pump....Nice to remember and then have the pleasure of flicking on the electric lights, lovely modern cooker, delicious hot showers ,microwave, and washing machine, two flush toilets etc and heating! Lessons in Gratitude thank you.”

“Such a characterful cottage in a central town location. Despite the latter and our stay being a bank holiday, it wasn't noisy. It was wonderful to see shops setting up in the mornings and having only a stroll over to the bakers. Plus, of course, only a short walk to the seafront. The cottage was very comfortable and a pleasure to stay in.”

Jane O

“We parked our car at the station car park and left it there for a week without further use for it. We paid for a weekly ticket at the pay and display costing £34 and that was it! We walked everywhere using the beach or the coastal path. Due to the fabulous location of Annie’s, nothing was too far away.
The house was perfect for us and our 2 Labradors. Flagstone floors were great for after walks and plenty of space for the dogs to settle. All mod cons were available although we didn’t use them much as we were out and about for most of the time. Would thoroughly recommend Annie’s. It’s cosy, comfortable and surprisingly quiet, especially at night. Would love to return. ”

Simon M

“Fine.Warm and comfortable. Didn't need anything bought except food. Well provisioned. Commmfy sitting room. Liked the bed linen. no complaints ”

Elaine T

“Enjoyed a lovely stay at Annie’s cottage , we had everything we needed and the enclosed garden for the dog was such a bonus . Beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious ,my toddler granddaughter had the time of her life wandering through the kitchen, dining room and lounge .
The one adjustment I would have liked was a grab rail by the slipper bath as I could only use it once as I found it very difficult to get out of it with nothing to hold onto. We had a very comfortable stay. ”

mandy J

“Wonderful location and very comfortable. Bathroom very cold in the autumn and heated towel rail didn't work, not great when you are in your late 80's. Otherwise great, a pleasure to stay here”

Catherine J

“Annies is a beautiful time capsule but with most mod cons.(No dishwasher). With being centrally located on the main street we find it perfect for waking to the beach at one end & the station at the other. ”

Linda H

“On arriving at Annies, our first impression was Wow, The cottage had retained lots of period items yet had all the modern necessities you could ask for; we were very pleased to find a welcome pack that even included biscuits.
The whole cottage was well furnished and clean as was the small patio area at the back of the cottage. The beds were comfortable, bedrooms were light and airy and the bathroom, with a shower, toliet and a bath was very impressive. Annies also has a toilet downstairs, which was very convenient
Once settled in we started to discover lots of little gems, being of a more mature age, these brought back memories from the past, the metal shoe lasts brought back memories of taking shoes to the Cobbler and seeing them being repaired on identical lasts. Memories are very important for my wife who has a diagnoses of Alzheimer's'. She was able to relate to past memories which made her feel at home, normally she would be anxious in new surroundings, but this was not the case during our stay at Annies. Hopefully we will all return soon. ”

Stephen S

“The cottage was very comfortable and in a great location. The owner was very helpful and assisted us when contacted.”

Veronica W

Catherine J

“We enjoyed our holiday greatly, the house was immaculate and very well placed within the town. Annie’s house is amazing and we will be back very soon we hope.
Margaret D

“Lovely , full of character , very well equipped kitchen only one negative , no where to store food , which slightly defeats well equipped kitchen . Brilliant location absolutely lovely . Would certainly go back .
Andrew T

“Perfect location. Close to the sea and shops.
The cottage has all the modern appliances within an historic building making it very comfortable whilst maintaining its original character.
Would definitely come again.”

Linda H

“Lovely cottage in a fab location in the centre of sheringham would definitely book again and great service from keys lettings ”

Maria L

“Delightful cottage full of many quirky finds. Ideally located for pubs, restaurants and shops. Just a short walk to the beach. Well equipped cottage with everything you may need for your stay. Kitchen particularly well equipped. Dog friendly too which was a bonus.”

Brendan M

“Annies is a delightful property, deceptively spacious and perfectly kitted out. We found everything we needed for our stay and then some, the owners have thought of everything. The furnishings are well thought out and very comfortable and the forties style is fabulous and only adds further interest to the property. As for location, it is ideally placed for anything you want to do in Sheringham with a host of excellent shops nearby and a stones throw from various resturants, pubs, parking and of course the beach. The rear courtyard garden is a lovely sun trap and perfect for an evening sundowner or al fresco dining on a summer's evening.”

Tracy W

“We really enjoyed our stay in Annies cottage. It was like stepping back in time, loved all the period features. The cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The garden at the back was a real sun trap for the first few days of our stay. However when the weather changed dramatically, the owners were very prompt in turning the heating up for us. Situated in a great position for all amenities. Definitely recommend staying here.”

Ruth B

“Lovely cottage. This was our second stop at this lovely cottage, which had everything you could wish for. Central location, right in the middle of Sheringham, patio a sun trap, ideal for seating out after a busy day.
